Nord Stage 2 Copy Slot
I currently find myself in need of a digital piano. I am playing in two classic rock bands using a Motif XS 6, Nord Electro 3 (61), and Nord Lead 2x. I find this rig covers all the bases (ap/ep, organ, synth and a few one-shot samples); however, I miss having a weighted-action keyboard. I have considered saving up for a Nord Stage 2 as it would be nice to have an 'all-in-one' solution for festival gigs etc., in addition to a weighted action.
As fate would have it a Nord Stage 88 (first generation) has just been posted on CL for $1200 Cdn. My question to you fine folk: would the synth and organ sections of the Stage be good substitutes for the Lead and Electro 3, respectively? I realize there would certainly be a compromise playing organ with a weighted board, but hey, I could sell the Lead and still have the Electro for a decent 2-board set up. I could convert my handful of one-shot samples to Electro format.
